Groups

We welcome private groups in the afternoon or evening during the week. The winery has three dining rooms that seat from between 80 to 180 people, with dancing and entertainment space available. Guided tours, wine tastings and steak cookouts can be arranged.

A group wine tasting at Valley Vineyards is a special way to entertain business associates or your favorite social group. Our warm and welcoming winery offers the perfect surroundings for savoring the intriguing flavors of Valley Vineyards’ premium wines. We’ve been producing internationally award-winning wines for nearly 40 years and would love to showcase them to your group.

For $10.00 (+ tax) per person we offer:

• Sampling of 6 Valley Vineyards wines
• Cheese and crackers for palate cleansing
• Souvenir wine glass
• Presentation by one of our experts on winemaking and the dynamics of wine tasting
• Tour of our winemaking facility

Sunday through Thursday, experience a legendary Valley Vineyards Private Cookout, our most popular feature. Both indoor and outdoor grilling venues are provided where you can cook and socialize with friends. Along with your steak or salmon, a wine tasting, and two glasses of wine, you will enjoy:

• Two types of salad
• Green beans almandine
  (or corn on the cob in summer)
• Baked potato
• Fresh breads
• Our delicious homemade dessert buffet
• Coffee and Tea.

Private Cookout pricing for age 21 and over:

$59.00 (+ tax) per couple, with one bottle of wine
$29.50 (+ tax) per person, with 2 glasses of wine
Price remains the same if couple or person would like Catawba sparkling grape juice instead of wine.

Private Cookout pricing, under 21 years of age:

16.50 (+ tax) per person, with steak or salmon and our grape juice or other non-alcoholic beverage.
$7.50 (+ tax) per person, without steak or salmon, with buffet as described above. With our Catawba sparkling grape juice or other non-alcoholic beverage.

Tasting Room

Sample a variety of Valley Vineyards wines and discover new favorites. If you’d like expert guidance, our professional staff will introduce you to the unique characteristics of wines produced in the Ohio River Valley Appellation.

Our Dining Rooms

Cabernet Room

This attractive dining room offers private entrances, handicap access and an attached indoor grillroom. Relax and enjoy yourself under our “Indoor Sky” and unique chandelier. The Cabernet Room offers seating for up to 160 people, wine tasting tables and dancing/entertainment space.

Main Dining Room

Experience old world charm in this dining room with its large wood-burning fireplace and waterwheel. The architectural elements come from a local corn mill, dismantled in the mid-1970s. The highlights are two murals painted by renowned artist Jeff Gandert.

A mid-room dance floor and seating for up to 100 make this dining area ideal for private or business groups. It’s a popular room for wine tasting or our cookouts. We invite you to raise a glass of our finest, and enjoy the company of friends beside a roaring fire.

Upstairs Dining Room

Many private and corporate groups enjoy this dining room for its seclusion and casual elegant décor. The space seats up to 80 and offers private wine tasting tables, dancing area and its own restroom facilities.
